Quoted in hours. Billed on actuals. Capped at the quote.
Every project is scoped in hours, billed on the hours the work actually takes, and never invoiced beyond the number we quote. Most shops quote per square foot and quietly pad the number against whatever they find in your data. We would rather just show you the hours.
What you are buying, and what you are not.
- ×Arbitrary $/sq. ft. that inflates open spans and underprices the awkward bits.
- ×A queue you cannot see, and a modeller who does not speak survey.
- ×Walls squared up, lean and settlement erased, then a change order when QA objects.
- +A scope of hours before you commit. If we finish under it, you pay less.
- +A hard cap. We do not invoice beyond the number we quoted.
- +Surveyor-led review. Revisions to reach client sign-off sit inside the cap.
We do not publish a rate card.
A quote is driven by the work in the file, not by a published hourly or a square-foot multiplier. The items below are what we actually look at. None of them is a sample hour count.
| Input | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Deliverable mix | Registration alone is a different job from LOD 500 MEP in your families. Combine services only when the file needs them. |
| LOD and density | Massing is not coordination. MEP at LOD 400 and above is one of the larger drivers of hours, and it is priced in up front. |
| Area, scan count, and condition | How much there is to draw, and whether the cloud is clean enough to draw from. Gaps and missing control get flagged, not padded into a square-foot rate. |
| Your template and families | Working in your library is the point. A dense custom library takes longer than a starter set. We would rather know that before we quote. |
| Review and revisions | Client sign-off sits inside the cap. We do not treat that as a change order after the fact. |
From scan to capped quote in one to two business days.
Send us the scans.
Raw scans, notes, target sheets, and the deliverable and LOD you need. If you are not certain, send what you have.
We quote a scope of hours.
The number covers the work and the revisions the engagement needs. It does not move later.
We process. You review.
A deliverable is not finished until your client has signed off on it.
Billed on actual hours used.
Under the quote costs less. We do not invoice beyond the cap.
No sample hour logs. No published rates. No $/sqft.
Those numbers would be invented for a brochure. Send the scans and the spec. You get a cap you can hold us to, usually inside one to two business days.
Questions about cost.
What does a project cost?
It is quoted per project, driven by deliverables, LOD and area. Send us the scans and your spec and you will have a capped quote inside one to two business days. If anything is missing, we will ask on a call rather than pad the number.
Do you quote per square foot?
No. We quote a scope of hours, bill the hours the work actually takes, and never invoice beyond the cap.
What if the work finishes under the quote?
You pay for the hours used. A project that finishes under the quoted scope costs less. One that reaches the cap is billed at the cap.
Are revisions extra?
Revisions to reach client sign-off sit inside the cap. They are not a change order we produce afterwards.
Do you process drone or photogrammetry data?
No. Lidar only, terrestrial or aerial. Photogrammetry is a genuinely different pipeline and we would rather turn the work down than learn on your project.
We have been burned by an offshore shop before. Why would this be different?
We hear this most weeks and it is a fair thing to ask. The short answer is do not take our word for it. Send us one scan and let us model a small area of it, at no cost, and judge us on the geometry instead of on a website.
Send us the scans. We will tell you what it takes.
Tell us what you have got and what your client is expecting. You get back a scope of hours, a cap and a calendar. If the scans have problems, we will tell you that too, before you have paid us anything.
